Messenger - how to update certificates for jot-server automatically

We run our UNA platform on a virtual server. After several technical challenges, we succeeded in setting our system up for stable operation, with all needed core and premium modules. But we still have problems with running Messenger mod. It took some time to figure out, what exactly the reason is, why our Messenger gets frequently disconnected. Alexey supported us with changing ports, but the problem persists. Now, we think, we found the problem, that is we're using free ssl for our domain. Those certificates get updated frequently for security reasons, what's surely appreciated. Since Messenger uses the same certificates as the server, the problem is, that after several weeks the free certificates get outdated and are not valid anymore. That might be the reason, why Messenger gets disconnected again and again. Since our host is a business, his only solution he offered is, that we buy a one-year-valid SSL certificate, which only needs to be exchanged once a year. But we think, that there must exist another solution, with automatic exchange of free ssl certificates for Messenger whenever ssl certificate for the server changes, by using cron.

Does anybody have the same experience with free ssl server certificates and disconnected Messenger? Or better, could anybody solve the same problem?
