UNA 9rc2+9rc3 released. The second (and now third) release candidate.
Yesterday we published the second release candidate for UNA v9. Sites with activated automatic updates should be already running this latest version. This version is upgradable and is currently the most stable UNA package available.
While RC updates usually focus on bug-fixes only (we've squashed over a 100 this time around), we still decided to add some layout enhancements and performance improvements.

- Speed optimisation - 834
- Ability to change default profile unit cover - 854
- Separate page for friend request link from email - 786
- Users picker with avatar - 780
- Number of items per page settings for keyword and site searches - 820
- Flex-box layout for Persons and Albums Images browsing - 806
- Persons module: 'gender' and 'birthday' fields were added by default - 782
- Market: new snippet layout - 810
- Studio "Apps Market": New layout for product snippet - 819
Please, post about any issues you find in UNA Discussions. We plan to move quickly now and bring the package to final release within weeks.
UPDATE: shortly after the RC2 release we found a couple of serious omissions, which were fixed in the now released RC3 update.

So what do I do if I get this?
The following errors appeared during modules upgrade:
Messenger module: Check module hash: Module was modified
Snipcart module: Check module hash: Module was modified
I personally changed the code in the Snipcart Module and also the messenger module.
I added a few lines of code to add sizes in Snipcart : Messenger Module, I added a line to prevent words from splitting.
How do I add the upgrade now without modifying files that I changed?-
If I force auto-update, will that replace modified files with default?

Yes, if you force update when files were modified, then some files maybe overwritten with default one. But not all only which were modified in the update script.

I checked the force update box. My site is showing this error:

So I just also noticed that the notification bubble (red bubble on profile)...Says 0, if there isn't a notification.
Probably kind of a redundant deal. I would know that if the bubble just went away instead of reading 0.-

After this last update...Notifications are still squirrelly... <-How ever you spell that...
They either show up after refresh or don't go away after refresh... -
Notifications issue: If someone posts a link in their post, the link truncates in the notification list. Then if clicked on in the notifications, the link doesn't work.
This is just when they only post a link...

Yeah, that overlay of it updating doesn't ever go away...
Usually the only way I know it was updated was because of the email I get.
Also, a status bar of the update would be nice...just to see it being done.
Not logged in users can't 'Comments Post'.
