Messenger service notifications flag won't reset to "0" it's stuck at 1

Messenger service notifications flag won't reset to "0" it's stuck at 1 even though there are no new messages. I've tested multiple browsers, cleared my cache/cookies/data to no avail. I'm running UNA 12.1.0, Messenger Service 12.0.5. I've cleared all UNA cache and rebooted the server as well. This problem is happening to me and one other person only. I've activated and de-activated Messenger Service. Can anyone help me come up with solution, this is annoying seeing the message glag showing there.
