Hello @LeonidS
I have been working on a new project based on UNA 12.1.0 (no users no content yet. Still in the dev mode)
I would like to upgrade to 13.0.0-B2 as i consider it quite stable and also I would like to start working on its new features and enhancements while I am still in the dev mode.
Should I have to manually upgrade from UNA 12 > 13-Alpha > 13-B0 > 13-B1 > then to 13-B2? Or can I just hit the update button showing on my dashboard and update straight to 13.0.0-B2? Is it safe? Of course I will backup my files and database first.
Thanks

So how will I do it if on the dashboard there is only one update botton to 13.0.0.-B2? Also why on a UNA 12.1.0 installation does it say UNA 13.0.0-B2 is available when there is not even a way to update straight from the dashboard?
Great questions
Hi, The version is already set to beta in the developer app and the beta version 13.0.0-B2 is already showing on my dashboard. My question is: As the installed version is 12.1.0, can i upgrade straight to 13.0.0-B2 using the update button on the dashboard? Is it safe? Won't it break my site? Or should I manually update from 12.1.0 > 13.0.0-A1 > 13.0.0-A2 > 13.0.0-A3 > 13.0.0-B1 > then to 13.0.0-B2? If so how can I mannually update one by one till the last version? How to do it? Thanks. @Alex T⚜️ @LeonidS Please help.
Update button in dashboard will update your site incrementally through all versions, however after releasing 13.0.0 stable, we'll make cumulative update straight from 12.1.0 to 13.0.0
Thank you so much @Alex T⚜️ I am consedering giving it a try and updating using the update button on the dashbord. By the way, any expecting release date for the 13.0.0-Final so that I can wait? Thanks.
Here is my feedback:
I have successfully managed to upgrade my site from UNA 12.1.0 to 13.0.0-B3 using the Update button in dashboard.
It has updated it incrementally through all versions: 12.1.0 > 13.0.0-A1 > 13.0.0-A2 > 13.0.0-A3 > 13.0.0-B1 > 13.0.0-B2 > then to 13.0.0-B3.
The crucial tip is: After each update you should also update your modules (App Market > Updates or /studio/store.php?page=updates)
Everything went smoothly. I was very impressed with the Update Script. Congratulations to the UNA Team. You guys have done an amazing job. @UNA Inc @Andrey Yasko @Alex T⚜️ @LeonidS @Anton L
Just some minor issues on the site after the upgrade. I will talk about in another post. Thanks for the great work.
Thank you so much for the information. Same experience here but I was updating on time each time version was released. Agree with you there are some lingering issues with some modules that I hope UNA team can iron them out !
My Site Went through the process rather smooth till the B1 to B2 update and it hangs and never applies the B2 update. Is there a manual process I could follow to get it completed.. ? Any thoughts @Alex T⚜️ @LeonidS

Check if the PHP version that your host is running is less than PHP 7.3 . This is one of the reason I have found that stops the updates from being applied.
Im running PHP v7.4.33 and the server Audit is perfect.. Really strange. It says the re is an update to RC1 available but will not update past B1..
so I got a email with:
Upgrade failed due to the following error:
Downloaded patch file checksum is invalid
So here is an Update if someone else gets stuck. I deleted the files in the /tmp directory cleared the cache and tried the updates again in the dashboard and all went well.. :)
