I'm looking at UNA for a site and am interested in the Relationship aspect as this suits my site as it is for a family community. 

Is it ok/easy to pre-create Releationships for users? I've been looking at the database tables relating to Relationships and it seems only a single table contains the Relationship data and it seems straight forward in prepopulating. I was thinking of a cron job that periodically populates the table with data from another source (say once a day).
Also how easy would it be to write a module that drives the Relationship part of the system so it derives its data from another source as oppose to the users having to create the relationships themselves or preload the table (as I'm thinking). The module would have more advanced Relationship functions. For instance so one user could lookup their relationship to another user or expanding the Privacy System (e.g. access to Immediate Family only)?
