Unable to post to feed as Administrator - login me out

Since I re-installed the latest version afresh my website and got the modules all installed, I realised I cannot post to feed as Administrator. It pops up "Not logged in users can't post". If i refresh after this action, It will display the login and Signup links. I am instantly logged out when I try posting to feed as Admin.

Ordinary member account works fine and even on my Test Site, Admin can post to feed.

    • Sorry, but I couldn't reproduce this bug in your site. What browser and OS do you use during this trouble?

      • Thanks Leo for checking this out, I have tried so many stuffs and I discovered the following.

        1. I created another Account with Administrator Status and they worked well without this issue, just missing access to Studio.

        2. Its an isolated experience with the Principal Administrator Account. It will work for as long as I remain within the Studio environment, but when I click on the Home Icon to switch to Homepage, any action I tried doing is denied.

I cannot post to feed, cannot do anything that required login. Even my profile as an Administrator cannot be accessed because I had the privacy control set to "Me Only" its so funny.

I can give you the details for access as principal Admin if you feel its necessary.

So I have been working with 2 Admin Accounts, 1 for Studio and the other for Frontend stuffs.

        Thanks

        • Lest I forget, I work on Chrome and Firefox with this same experience. My OS is Windows

          • The similar situation is possible when an operator (superadmin) doesn't have the created profile which is necessary to post content menu. It's possible to check via clicking the admin's avatar icon in the top right corner, and then any of the "Add" items. If you in the "Add" page will notice the header "Create an account" then do it and repeat your actions with the feed.

            • I stated in my post 3 days back that I have a profile with privacy set to "only me" that at times It will shut me out, denying me as if it's not my own profile. Now it allowed me to post to timeline and I haven't done any new thing.

I gave you my SuperAdmin details so that you can see all this and reproduce it. Creating an Account now means I am having 2 profiles under Administrator which can't be the solution.

              • I was operating with your site under main admin account. And I could post the timeline (feed) content to any place of your site like index.php or

                page/view-persons-profile?id=1 .

If the admin has created profiles (persons or organizations) then he shouldn't meet the similar troubles.

                • Yeah I saw your post, The experience has been an on/off experience, so tricky times it allows me and times it goes crazy. Anyways lets leave it at that for now, I'll keep watching. Thanks
