Need help: error 500 in root but not in next folder?

Hello everyone.

I have a question about this error 500 Im getting..here is whats going on;

I have 2 Dolphin websites runing ok. I got several domain names on my server ( Deluxe shared Godady server).

The other day I wanted to try to test install Una to see what it does..I made a folder in my root and installed Una there...everything is working properly. Today I decided to install it on my root. But now I get error 500, unable to handle request ( on the one in main root)???? How is that possible?

Here is how it is;

www.my domain name.xx/FolderForUna/  <-- Una is working ok.

www.my domain name.xx   <-- Una is not working, error 500

I added una to other 2 folders and Una is ready to be installed on those 2 new folders. First test install of Una and dolphins are still running great, it is just the one in root that Im getting error for.

Can someone please explain how is this possible and maybe what to correct to get it going in my root section?

    • Hello Nurke !

      Usually, 500 error is tracked in the server error log. So you need to check what does happen in the moments when UNA locates in the www.my domain name.xx

      • Thanks LeonidS, I found out that I was missing inc folder. I could bet my life that it was there yesterday when I was checking transfer..

        Then for some reason I wasnt able to create inc folder...would get all kind of messages from my ftp3...folder exists, cant make a folder, folder doesnt exists...

        Then I called in and the tech found out that there was inc.txt file in my root and he got confused too. So after removing that file I was able to make inc folder and upload files from instalation. Now all as designed.

        Thanks for replying.
