Forcing user email confirmation in backend
Sometimes users never receive confirmation emails. I try to resend but doesn't work. How can I over ride in backend?

Ask them to check spam folder and if they have email in spam folder, you may want to insert some kind of comment on sign up page to please check spam folder

1 - In Studio > SMTP Mailer, when you send a test email, does it work?
If so, have the user confirm there is not a typo in their email address.
2 - The email address you've registered to 'send as' is it a custom domain, or a mainstream Gmail/Yahoo type?
Keep in mind, if they're trying to register a company or school email address, and you have a custom domain email as the sending address, the emails could be being filtered automatically. The business/school would have to 'whitelist' your domain if that's the case, or the user would need to use another email.

Was a hotmail email..
The confirmation works for some, but I notice that some don't, they say they check junk or spam. The same email address works with my onborading sequence... that is why I just need a back-end way of switching it to confirmed.

Hello Harry Sondre !
Well, in the present state I may suggest to try the 2 factor authentification (2FA) with phone number.
