How to change upload folder(disk) for video files?

    • Hello Roman !

      This is not a good way to divide storage due to our Storage system. The first step you may do is to change the type of engine for the bx_videos_files object in `sys_objects_storage` table. But you should have the ready Amazon S3 in this case.

      • Thanks for answer. If i want use only local storage. But dont have more space on ssd drive. How to add another local place for video*. I can mount hdd on site directory but how say una use that location for video*. 

        • You can make folder with videos to be a symbolic link to another folder which is mounted to additional storage. I think It's  better to ask your hosting support to do it for you to make sure no files are accidentally deleted.

          • Please say what dirs on storage use for archive** only, and dont need to be on ssd?  Processed and resized folders or something else? Or i mistake) Thanks.

              Folders with original files aren't used much and needed if resized images are lost or need to be regenerated, for example these folders can be moved out of SSD:

              bx_ads_videos
bx_albums_files
bx_photos_photos
bx_posts_videos
bx_timeline_videos
bx_videos_videos
