How to add description field in file module
Hi All,
is there any option to add description field for the files. I want to add small description when we add files.

Have you tried studio...pages...on the left chose files...from select page, chose create file or upload file I don't know what option's are there, but I guess you can figure it out....then on upper right corner chose add block...scroll down on left to files and on right look for description

You can't do it via Studio, some code modification is required to implement this.

Are you saying that adding a simple field to a form page can't be done via studio? That is a problem. Why is it and how can this be changed in future versions?
"Code modification" affects upgrades according to what I have noticed. In particularly, I have changed just a few characters only later to find that the module could not be updated due to "70% of the code having been changed..."

I asked about this long ago. After upload you can edit the description as the field is there.

It was made due to the "universal" part of the file form. BTW - in the edit page the "Description" field is available. I guess this is not so big trouble
