Second remote storage Server or UNA Cloud Pro Server for custom module

When creating a custom module is it possible to to integrate with API and have the module sit on the second remote storage server or would it be best to have the module sit on the same main cloud server (i.e. UNA Pro Cloud). I want to know the best way to integrate the Algolia Search using their API to create a custom module.

I plan to integrate a Wasabi remote storage server to manage upload files with UNA Pro Cloud.
