email servers
what email server is the least expensive but reliable

Hello, I use MailJet for a few months, I'm delighted, see for yourself. The service is also excellent, you are a person, not a number. Very user-friendly and powerful interface, campaigns possible, tracking etc. $ 8.69 for 30,000 mails and $ 17.06 for 60,000. Basic subscription features largely sufficient.

Yes, it is not really very expensive, you can try, you will be pleasantly surprised I think.

After hearing Baloo's experience, I started to use mailjet too and very satisfied.
I was wrong to insist to manage the spam reports by myself.
Sometimes you could do nothing to fix it.
One of our users, besides our all explanations, instead of setting her email notifications from site, reported all emails coming from the site as spam to hotmail.
We could never fixed the blockage again in hotmail.
Thank you Baloo for your recommendation, it saved me a lot of headache. -

For those of you using MailJet, does it require you to include your home address in the bottom of the emails like MailChimp? I do not need a SMTP just yet since I have reverse DNS setup to use a PTR file when sending emails directly from my server so that emails show coming from my domain and not the server's IP address (main reason emails go to spam) but, I may consider using one later. So just curious if any personal information is required on the out-going emails.

I was using ptr record too, mails were not going to the spam folder.
But spam reporting by some insane users are another issue. And it's happening...
Having these email gateways, they are the ones to keep their reputations good, you have no worries for that.

No Chris, nothing like that ... but I have not seen a user say here that he was happy with MailChimp. Cem it's true that I already talked about it, when we find a good pipe as much to share it. I'm glad you're happy too.

I just set up MailJet and from what I see, no, I sent a test email and did not see my address any where in the mail.

Hey Tim Burleigh . Mark with UNA said that he joined my site and recieved the email and after clicking on it he didn't recieve that error you got. Everything worked fine for him. When you have time could you give it another try and let me know how it works out this time? I will try also.

That sucks. I can see it did work for Mark. His profile is confirmed. Not that it might help but I resent your confirmation email.

Now that is strange. The confirmation email that you sent me worked. I am now confirmed. I tried it several times resending the email myself and got the error message.

I also signed up at your site and was able to confirm my email without issue. Since I was just helping test, I deleted my account after registering 😁

I wonder if the fact that I tried to register before you signed up with MailJet has anything to do with it. Said you resent it, it worked fine.

I tested too, no problem, confirmation received
