Page counter everywhere

Please add a page counter in all lists including the list of notifications. When we sail we have no landmarks and we never know where we are.

You did it for the forums, why not do it everywhere?

    • We need to research this specifically for each place. Sometimes paginate isn’t convenient or relevant. For example Notifications popup would work better with infinite scroll, with Notifications page could use a paginate controller.

Suggest specific places where you feel it’s needed and we will consider.

      • Yes yes Andrew, I agree with you, not in the popup but in the notification page.
But in fact in any search containing many results. I think for example to the members. Here is the problem. You do a research and you get 2500 results. Ok, I'm going to visit 500 matching profiles and then I'll watch the rest tomorrow.
And the next day, damn, where was I? You understand? No reference ... I would like to resume on page xxx ...
But it's the same for the photos ...
I also talked about the notifications for the same reason, I do not come on the site a week and here I am with 650 notifications. The same thing is painful to not know where we are and I think I miss a lot of notifications because of that.

        • Dear Baloo adding one issue regarding "notifications" here as i feel its related.

I came back after 2-3 days and have 100+ notifications, i open a link from 2nd page but when i came back with "back link from browser", notifications always starts from page 1(as page no is not showing now and may be under consideration to add in future)

Andrew hope you will also consider this issue.

          • Hello, no it is not directly related, but rather a second problem, but I'm a little tired to report it. Andrew Boon , you should go through all the results lists and see that it persists everywhere, as greymatters points out. and thus solve this problem once and for all. The only solution for now is to open the links in new tabs. For example, go to the last forums, go ahead three pages, follow a link, go back to the list, you're back to page 1. If I understand correctly, it's when ajax is used this not? It would be nice to find a solution for that ... It's the kind of thing that can make a member try twice, and then no longer, that's important.
