Photo editor
Does UNA plan to add some sort of photo editor, so that users can filter their profile pictures and perhaps cover photos?

I'll be honest and say you probably don't need that for engagement. Push solid content out, use SEO guide by Andrew and share every post you make across all social platforms with proper hashtags...
Unless you run a photography site. Then yes sure go for it. But minimal server load as possible. If you can win with text based community. That's a+

Nahh bro, no photography site, but it was just a little something that just thought of that's all :)

Discussing this now. We have a number of tickets related to uploaders, resizing, image positioning, etc, which we may be able to solve at once with this. I’ll update on the decision shortly.

I’ve been suggesting a change and solution since day one of this part

I hear you, UNA i think is aware of this, who knows hopefully we shall see it soon :)

Users love to be able to edit their photos, add stickers etc. Text based websites may work for business sites but as a social mobile platform visual interaction is a must. People will spend more time on your website with a better visual experiment. You will gain not just new people but returning customers. Returning customers means better reviews and monetization. UNA needs to step away from text formats and improve on its visualization and interactive experience for mobile sites.

I was thinking the other day how UNA could benefit by using some of the old Dolphin Mods and integrating them in UNA. So much potential in those mods

Interesting idea... but could this increase file storage and bog down the site? I can imagine if people saved multiple versions of the same picture as they edit could increase file storage very quickly, so we would have to be prepared for that instance.

Most of the pictures would be saved in storage on their phone or PC. Once you edit an uploaded picture then only the edited picture would be saved. If you meant editing a picture that's already uploaded there could be an option asking if you wish to replace the old picture with the new edited version.
