Bug in notifications still

This bug still exists. When friend A likes another of their friends post it sends a notification to ALL of Friend A's friends regardless if their friend isn't your friend. When you click on the notification it says Access Denied. This still needs to be fixed. Someone posted about "Helping to test functions" that isn't my friend but because one of my friends liked their post I too was also sent a notification to a post that isn't public

      Couldn't reproduce it: I made a new profile (A) and made him the friend with this profile (B). A user takes the notifications about B's new comments, but not about likes like you described. Maybe there exist other common points for these 2 profiles?

      • LeonidS :  I encountered something similar.  Profile A has joined secret group.  Profile B is friends with Profile A.  When Profile A comments on a discussion thread in the secret group, Profile B is sent a notification email and when they click on the link, it takes him to the error message displayed above in the original post.

          Well, for your example the UNA reacts as it should: it noticed the activity of profile A and send info about it to his friends. If we will add more checks for every action about accesses of all his / her friends this procedure will increase the load of the system.

          • I have had complaints from 2 users about this (out of about 6 that are active on UNA 11.0.1 B1).  If profile A continues to interact with the secret group at a high rate, the only thing profile B can do is disable all of the notifications for comments of friends, because they don't want to keep clicking on links that don't give them access to content.  I think this should be considered in upcoming versions.
