new install on new FQDN blank dir, no pagelinks work..

thats not something that's enabled by default, so i just turned it on.  will wait a few minutes to see if it generates anything.   directly out of the box, though  i cannot even create a new profile.....     shouldn't this audit enabled by default?  in my other install on the mytribes dot net site, it also wasnt, i turned it on a week ago or so, but even just checking it now, it only has logged regular actions taking place.

meanwhile, the page blocks editor has stopped working, i have blocks i cannot delete from existing page setups.   i tried today to rebuild the "pages>>persons>>view profile" by first deleting it because i could not delete the blocks i wanted to, and then i tried for 2 hours waiting and reloading log out log in clear cache clear browser cache, etc but studio would not let me add view profile back.   now nobody can see their profile, and i dont know why it will not re-generate when i go in.....   when i select "make new page" and click persons tab, none of the functions for that module were actually there to choose from...  
so somehow, things are very very broken, and like i said it may be my fault, but i cannot be sure exactly even the cause, there is no logging going on, even though logging is enabled, unless it appears somewhere other than "audit."  audit has no useful information, other than xyz added a content several hours ago, or new user registered, etc.  

also i am not one to complain , nor am i complaining , i do tend to push things in directions it normally wouldnt be used in, and while this is very good for testing bugs, it tends to also be a giant pain in my behind.

So,  I decided to start analyzing the database structure, and have figured out more or less how to begin to reconstruct page builder menu items.. so I can manually add back in the "persons_view_profile" elements by referencing a clean install and going back and forth, to correct the error i am having where nobody can see their profile. :)

oh those are fine, the only one that is red is about cache strings inside of part of sql...  but i have a query cache section and it is indeed turned on, ive asked mysql directly, and put it into the config myself.  :)

well, uh.. made a list.  because i need to make one to track because there is much needing to be fixed.

• disabled instant notify, (nothing against msolutions) but i was paring things down to find errors, and now page loads increased in speed by 400%..  what's the clean way to delete a module from studio? its not the wand, or the star, i seem to be able to disable only, but this seems missing a step.   i know where the file exists inside the website directory, but i want to use the approved method of deleting, so it hopefully takes any sql database entries along with it so i dont need to truncate and remove tables by hand..  where is it i tell studio to delete this module?
• page builder will not let me re-build the "view profile" page.  because i could not delete the blocks earlier that i was not using via the page builder, i deleted the page which is inside page builder and click "are you sure? yes." :  inside here: pages> persons > view profile ....  and attempted to click "new page" so i could re-build it,... but page builder would not let me re-create this page...  and now i cant get it back.       apparently this deletes the tables from sql database or the reference values, but assuredly it deletes more than it should..  it is one thing to keep a clean sql, another thing to have engine design where parses ALL sql tables as it builds the site, and another to have engine that has tables flagged for parsing (much better design, this last one), and if i could post links, I'd suggest whomever building semantic structure for ontology of engine & sql, to add a flag for on/off - "this table is parsed in current config yes/no, instead of the page builder deleting aspects of tables.....  keep a clean core, and just clone tables, assign it a unique uuid or some stringtype, and reference it inside the entity_name, and show an on/off switch inside the page builder module.  
  • because, the way the system works right now causes this next problem:"   i went to rebuild "persons view home page" from the pages builder, but when i went to "add page" the options that used to be on that page, were no longer options available inside the "persons" section, which should appear on someones profile...when making this proposed new page.   (because they were no longer inside sql db).
• the profiler app is actually a debugging console.   this seems to be helping.  
• right now nobody can see anybodys profile, because they cannot get there when navigating the site.  this is terrible.
• a few other small hickups, but the main fight i am having is to re-build pages, without having the options avilable.  i spent 4 hours last night editing the sql database directly and adding back title sections which had been deleted by the page builder, and at least now i can see some of them....  copying the logic of the database from other existing tables that were still intact.   but i still haven't been able to re-create the "view profile page"

3. OH. now I understand. I deleted items in persons, and in timeline, and never disabled/enabled after the fact. however, i think i crossed a line by deleting something in persons. (since this, I have re-installed the site from scratch, and will be moving along with the new install slowly.)
