Is there any way to add sub catagories to discussions or posts
Andrew Boon Alex T⚜️ LeonidS Is there any way to add sub categories on discussions or posts or both? discussions most of all as it would help out what i want from discussions massively i just want discussions to work like a normal forum.

It depends from the features list for your subcats. Anyway, it will require changes in the code of the app.

LeonidS thank you for the response. i figured it would what type of changes would it require and is it just code changes or would i need to change other aspects of the database also?
i would like category to work for example if i have a car community and someone posts a discussion about a Tesla and another for a ford id like it to have a catagory for for cars and a sub catagory for each make of car this is just an example of what i am looking for

I think you can use Labels for it, but it will work not only in forum but site-wide. Labels are disabled by default, so you need to create Labels tree first in Studio > Forms > Labels and enable Labels on discussion post add/edit/view.
