Post Migration Loading Issues with spinning UNA logo

Has anyone experienced the eternal spinning logo after moving/migrating a site or any other circumstance?

https://una.io/s/bx_forum_files/j8asjrhpkmzketut6zcuzxw5brhrhpaf.mp4

I moved a fully functional UNA 10.0b2 site from a primary domain to an addon domain under the same primary domain on the same server. Most things seemed to be ok on first look but tonight when I was attempting to edit a page, I realized that I was unable to add blocks when editing an existing page because it would never load. This appears throughout Designer, Studio and Dashboard as seen.

The only error that I see in the console is related to a OneSignal service worker which has always been a problem and not related to this issue.

So far I have checked and repaired the database tables and cleared the cache numerous times but the problem persists.

I appreciate any assistance

    • Hello Mosi76 !

Please specify by what way you made the migration. Looks like you didn't clear the cache and cache_public folders content after.

      • Hi LeonidS !

I backed up and zipped/archived my UNA directory that was under /public_html/DomainA and then unzipped it the archive into /public_html/DomainB on the same server. I didn't change any aspect of the database or the database user.

I believe that you are correct because I don't recall manually clearing the cache and cache_public folders. Is that an option that I can still do now?

Thank you so much for the assistance

        • Yes, except the clearing of the caches you missed the changes in the inc/header.inc.php file. You need to set the actual BX_DOL_URL_ROOT and BX_DIRECTORY_PATH_ROOT - the new DomainB should be set there instead of DomainA too.

          • LeonidS - Thank you for taking the time to help me out.

Things are looking better in the dashboard but in the page_builder I still have the same issue. Are there other any other directories that need to be cleared?

            Thanks again!

            • Now you need to provide me your UNA operator access via Messenger here.

              • Mosi76 Try backing up again via ssh on the server...not via ftp client. Then reupload all files, make the change to inc/header.inc.php file.to point to your new domain folder. Delete all cache files from the cache folders. Login and clear all cache via dashboard.

                • Jeremy - thanks for the tips. I ended up just walking away for a few hours and tried to forget about it for a while and when I came back to respond to LeonidS I noticed that a couple pages that were broken earlier were working again so I just gave it some more time and eventually everything sorted out.

Thanks again for helping out. I really appreciate it

                  • this is happening to me now same procedure from Dev to main.
Most of the pages not working except studio and home

                    image_transcoder.php?o=bx_froala_image&h=1911&dpx=1&t=1567489272
Profile icons dont display and all the media video, logo and photo.
I'm not really new to this situation but all necessary steps i made by changing

                    BX_DOL_URL_ROOT and BX_DIRECTORY_PATH_ROOT

                    Changes fresh Keys and secret

                    manual clearing of cache

                    Nothing solve the problem.
But in dev site before site.main,com/una2 it works perfectly fine

                    • Hello Expertzkris !

Please check if you still have .htaccess file in the new place. This error usually means that this file hasn't been transferred and the server hasn't the proper redirect for the pages like you shown.

                      • Hi LeonidS ty it was resolved already by my host
                        TMD Host :

Resolved the issue with the 404 errors by updating the .htaccess file for the website www.mysite.com with the rewrite rules which are necessary for proper work of the UNA permalinks.
