Can't finish site
The only last milestone my website needs is the option for users to send each other Credits, and have a Credits buttons inside Jitsi Live and pages....People could sell content on their pages or have subscriptions. Also people could have users pay to see Live shows via Jitsi Live such as tutorials, talk shows, or whatever else. Don't understand why this option is getting no attention at all. Don't people want the option for people to send other people credits? I'm on UNA Cloud so can't have someone create the mods for me and my msgs are left hanging. At least give me an idea how much it would cost to simply allow people to send each other Credits and have the option to place Credits buttons on pages and inside Jitsi Live....been waiting for this option for almost two years. At least give me a quote please...

Modzzz is here now. He had a great credits module for Dolphin and it allowed one to donate credits. Jerome Mingo needs to put his credits module on the market. We should all ask for this as it is so much better than the UNA credits system.

I was told that Jitsi could run on a seperate server and that Jitsi Jibri allows you to live stream and record. By putting Jitsi on your own server you could essentially change stuff in it like buttons and the Jitsi watermark in background. The Credit system is ok for an admin selling their own content but there's no way someone can send another user Credits.

If you are going to rent a server to run jitsi, then you may as well rent a dedicated server and get off of the limitations you are seeing on UNA Cloud.

If you allow users to let others subscribe to their pages, pay to access livestreams, or buy content on pages using Credits and you're getting a cut every time someone cashes out then you're going to be able to monetize on alot of content. Money helps your site grow and get better content. Like I said before I have no idea why Credits transactions between users hasn't been implemented yet. 🤷♂️

Maybe if Modzzz gets his credits module in the market he can also be more open to modifying the module for the uses you need more so than the developers working on UNA.

Hello!
It is possible to add button to Jitsi, but in your case maybe it would be better to have ability to send credits before to start the Video Conference, but not when the member already joined to the room.
About credits module: If you need some special ability to extend the module, like to present credits, you may send the list also,we will check.

I would like the ability to do both but have the user control if they want a Credits button to show or be hidden before they start the Jitsi Live

Can you send me the link to his one on Boonex? Also if he can create Credits buttons in both Jitsi Live and pages that's what's important to me. I don't know how long Modzzz would take to do his Credits Mods but I'll buy it in the future if UNA doesn't developed User to User Credits transfer.

This is the part that I want. I want this function in Jitsi Live. Also want where when people create pages, groups, or even on their own profile to allow them to have other users subscribe to their pages using Credits or be able to have other users donate Credits on their pages

In a way you can...if you reduce the exchange rate to buying rate. For instance user A buys points @ rate of 2.0, then exchange points rate can be say 1.5 or less. This will devalue the initial buying rate so you take a 0.5 cut from each points exchange

Nah.. This is when members send exchange request for "points to cash". Hence the exchange rate set will devalue the points and in turn reduce the dollar amount for cash out

So you have to approve each cash out request? There is no way users can just cash out themselves without you having to approve each request?

It is important to prevent users from automatically cashing out points. Systems can be gamed and site operators have to have a stage of human control when it comes to taking out real cash.

Yes totally agree.. Cash regulations & control are best monitored via human audit especially on spam-like points generation

I like the Present Points on profile pages and how easy it is to give people the amount of points you want. Since my site would only be using Points or Credits as currency and not to be awarded for doing activities then approving every single cash out wouldnt be needed. Basically I just want members to be able to buy credits or points and use them to give to other members who then can cash them out. If Credits had the same setup as Points where you can easily send members credits while being able to cash out then I would stick with Credits..but it doesnt. Converting points to Credits and Credits to points to cash out would be too confusing and too many steps for the users I want for my site.

This system is good for the Point System and how it's set up right now BUT if and when your members start adding up it can take hours to approve a cash out for all your members unless your site is pulling in enough money to the point you don't mind setting aside a day or two to cash people out. Since the setup I want is only using the Credits or Points for people to send to other members who then cash out then rigging the system would be harder and easier to track

The reason why i ask is because his credit module offers more functions then una credit module, i'm not degrading una's credit module, but i own it over in dolphin and i would like to use it with my una site, just like Will Roberts

Andrew Boon Let's make this perfectly clear one way or the other. Yes or No, can Modzzz add his credit module to the market? I am sure you have had the time to review the module to see if it is an exact clone or not and check the functionality of the module. If no, then why not?

Here is one more thing to add to this discussion. While the function may be the same; there are often other reasons we might want to buy a module from a particular vendor. One is service and that is a big reason that I might want to buy from Modzzz and use his credit module over another vendor's credit module or UNA's credit module; his service is bar none.
